We’re Performing at Rhythms of the Refuge!

Come and see the Nusantara Arts Balinese gamelan and dance gamelan ensembles performing at the next installment of Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge’s Rhythms of the Refuge series!

Through traditional music, dance, and cultural expression, we’ll share the vibrant traditions and artistic practices that reflect the diverse cultures of the Indonesian archipelago. This special program offers an opportunity to experience the beauty of cultural storytelling and performance while connecting communities through art, history, and shared appreciation of traditions from around the world.

Hosted by the Friends of Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge in collaboration with local cultural organizations and performing artists, Rhythms of the Refuge will take place throughout 2026 as a three-part series. Each event will feature live performances, interactive experiences, and educational elements that explore how music, dance, and cultural traditions reflect human relationships with nature. 🌿🎶✨
